About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources
May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required)
Responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians

Requirements

What you’ll need

RN License in the state you are applying
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) preferred but not required
