About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Calculates net patient revenue for assigned facilities
- Prepares and reviews monthly Accounts Receivable files
- Reviews and prepares monthly Accounts Receivable reconciliations
- Reviews General Ledger revenue reserve balances
- Prepares monthly revenue journal entries for General Ledger accounting system
- Reviews monthly charges, allowances and payments
- Evaluates accounts on monthly Accounts Receivable aging reports
- Performs quality review of final net patient revenues
- Communicates with Central Business Office staff
- Prepares and reviews bad debt entries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in accounting
- 1-3 years in an accounting-related position
- Working knowledge and competency in use of software packages (e.g., Excel and Word)
