About the role

  • The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care.
  • Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
  • Must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred.
