About the role
- The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
