About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You take functional responsibility for the stable operation and further development of the central data warehouse and ETL landscape
You analyze data and process disruptions, coordinate sustainable remediation, and moderate ad‑hoc solution sessions in operational support
You drive the strategy to strengthen internal technical knowledge of data storage and dashboard design (e.g., in Tableau) and to reduce dependence on external service providers
You serve as the central point of contact for business units such as Finance and Risk Management. You capture requirements, maintain the backlog, and prioritize implementation in a hybrid/agile working mode
You oversee collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders and support the continuous optimization of the data platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

A degree in (business) computer science or a comparable IT qualification — career changers with substantial professional experience are welcome
DWH expertise: You have experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and strong SQL skills. Ideally you are familiar with tools such as Tableau
Methodology: You are confident in ITIL processes (Incident/Change Management) and have experience working in agile environments
Language: As internal communication and documentation are primarily in German, very good German skills (at least B2, ideally C1) are required
Personal qualities: You are ready to take responsibility, are service‑oriented, and can represent the backlog confidently to various stakeholders
