About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help structure profitable and compliant transactions addressing needs of internal corporate customers
  • Provide Sr. Leadership with financial models and evaluation of deal economics
  • Become expert on CPQ (Steelbrick) quoting tools, ensuring revenue recognition compliance for quoting
  • Review and approve non-standard pricing requests, including financial analysis for gross margin and revenue compliance
  • Partner with field sales to drive large deal closure, liaising with finance, legal, and order management
  • Serve as trusted advisor to field sales on deals and work with stakeholders for decision support deal solutions
  • Ensure required approvals are obtained and documented for deals
  • Maintain adherence to policies and procedures for transactions and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years experience as Deals Desk Manager (in a tech environment, in a Finance/sales operation role) or related field
  • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units
  • Ability to work independently in fast paced environment
  • Experience of data analysis, modeling and/or financial analysis
  • Intermediate/advanced Salesforce and MS Excel skills are highly recommended
