About the role
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in customers' security transformation journeys
- Define technical solutions and high level designs across the entire Palo Alto Networks portfolio
- Build and implement strategic, technical account plans to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks platform and ensure value realization
- Build customer relationships to increase productivity, operational efficiency, and security efficacy
- Conduct discovery to understand technical, operational, and commercial imperatives
- Deliver customer-specific demos, technical presentations, engagements and workshops
- Lead technical validation efforts and ensure technical win in assigned opportunities
- Work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams for implementation and adoption
- Demonstrate cross-functional leadership and orchestrate supporting resources to ensure a one-team approach
- Promote end-to-end solutions including PANW and/or partner professional services to accelerate business value
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
- Skilled in at least one of: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE
- Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions preferred
- Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders; prior pre-sales experience ideal
- Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
- Partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption
- Experience in complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions preferred
- Field sales role with travel requirements for in-person customer meetings
- Proficient in English
