About the role

  • Partner with customers to secure their entire digital experience and solve critical security challenges
  • Lead and drive sales engagements and new engagements within largest revenue-producing clients
  • Own revenue expansion within Palo Alto Networks’ largest clients
  • Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles working with internal partners and teams
  • Identify business challenges using consultative selling and create solutions using Palo Alto Networks portfolio
  • Understand competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position solutions
  • Create clear goals, complete accurate forecasting, and develop a detailed territory plan
  • Leverage prospect stories to create compelling value propositions specific to accounts
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services
  • Travel as necessary within territory and to company-wide meetings

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security industry
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
  • Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Ability to identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions
  • Experience cultivating relationships with channel partners and channel-centric go-to-market approaches
  • Demonstrates in depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and ability to follow a structured sales process
  • Ability to take a holistic approach to problem solving and consider complex interrelationships and outcomes
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
  • Willingness to travel as necessary within territory and to company-wide meetings
  • Motor-vehicle requirement: reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
