About the role

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise and guidance in customer security transformation journey
  • Define technical solutions that secure customer business imperatives and ensure value realization
  • Evangelize PANW industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services
  • Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans
  • Positioning, demonstrating and creating high level designs across the PANW portfolio
  • Conducting discovery to understand technical, operational, and commercial imperatives
  • Working closely with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams for implementation and adoption
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills and influence through presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops
  • Leading technical validation efforts and orchestrating supporting resources to ensure one-team approach
  • Promoting end-to-end solutions including PANW and partner professional services
  • Continuously investing in personal technical and professional skills and participating within Solutions Consultant community and industry events

Requirements

  • Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures
  • Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
  • Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
  • Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
  • Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions
  • Complex sales experience with long sales processes and multiple buying centers preferred
  • High level of German language skills
  • Business fluency in English
