About the role
- Provide expertise in solar and residential energy technologies
- Communicate requirements between stakeholders including engineers, operations, OEMs, and investors
- Understand hardware decisions and their business implications
- Work with commercial and operational teams for hardware launches
- Identify new partners and technologies for strategic advancement
- Maintain relationships with OEM partners and technical teams
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a role which provides a deep, highly technical understanding of solar and/or other energy efficiency technologies
- Experience in the solar industry is required; experience with other home efficiency hardware types is a plus
- Ability to analyze technical reports on solar inverters or batteries
- Highly analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage across multiple priorities and influence peers and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with senior leaders and external stakeholders
- Proactive in problem-solving
- Experience working at an early stage startup is preferred
- Contractor’s license and/or Electrical license is preferred
