About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide a warm and engaging welcome to all residents, guests and visitors
  • Assist with banking, mail, purchase orders, expenditure requests, and invoice preparation
  • Maintain and control the resort’s key register and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Answer telephone enquiries and perform mail-outs as required
  • Gather and collate data; create and maintain documents and spreadsheets; manage printing and distribution needs
  • Assist with planning and co-ordination of resort functions, bistro meals, and sales events, including set-up and attendance
  • Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, and forms
  • Maintain confidential records and filing systems
  • Manage petty cash control and reconciliation
  • Support the Resort Manager with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative or sales support role
  • Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • A proactive, positive, and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility, patience, and understanding when working with elderly residents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Current C-class driver’s licence
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment medical check
