About the role
- Build and maintain productive relationships with distributor teams to align on goals and priorities focused on merchandising execution objectives.
- Manage, Track, and Support the achievement of monthly objectives that result in growth of both depletions and share of display of Palm Bay Brands across Regional and National Chains within California.
- Develop and execute incentive programs in collaboration with distributor partners to drive focus against Palm Bay priorities.
- Lead ongoing educational training to support Palm Bay portfolio and objectives, throughout multiple organizational levels within California Distributor.
- Ensure regular communication and monthly engagement with distributor teams to assess performance, planning and provide support.
- Conduct regular store visits, price surveys, and targeted sales initiatives to drive results.
- Build impactful relationships with Managers in key stores that results in incremental merchandising, shelf and coldbox opportunities for PBI brands.
- Develop and execute initiatives tailored to the unique needs of each account segment.
- Create and distribute a monthly bulletin that includes trends, program updates, advertising schedules, and incentive tracking.
- Track and analyze data at the account and store level to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with account managers and operational specialists to ensure seamless program execution.
- Call on assigned Regional/Specialty Chain accounts specific to California.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5 years of distributor or supplier experience
- Wine retail sales experience preferred
- A foundation of wine intelligence and the ability to educate others
- Competitive and Charismatic personality
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft office
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Safe driving record
- Must be able to present in front of large groups of people.
