About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • We are looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to own the creative direction of our paid media. Great creative is our number one growth lever and we need someone who lives and breathes direct response.
  • You will crack new avatars and angles, turn them into concepts that convert on cold traffic, and squeeze every winner for everything it is worth through relentless iteration. You do not just pitch ideas. You own whether they win.
  • Your mission: create the winning ads that scale this brand. Research, angle, brief, test, iterate, repeat.
  • Angle & Concept Development
  • - Crack new winning avatars, angles, and hooks across our core formats including native statics, video scripts, VSL, AI avatar ads, and UGC
  • - Mine voice-of-customer insight from reviews, Reddit, comments, and competitor ads and turn it into angles people actually respond to
  • - Build iterations off every winner to scale it as far as it will go before it fatigues
  • - Maintain a living angle and hook library so the team always has the next test queued
  • - Diagnose losers fast and turn the insight into the next concept to run
  • Brief & Script Writing
  • - Write sharp briefs and scripts that editors and UGC creators can execute against without guesswork
  • - Apply direct response fundamentals to every piece of copy you produce
  • - Brief the graphic designer on static ad concepts with clear direction on hook, visual, and CTA
  • - Work with the CRO specialist to ensure landing page copy matches the angle and avatar of each campaign
  • Testing & Performance Ownership
  • - Own the creative testing roadmap, deciding what gets tested, reading the performance data, and calling the winner
  • - Work closely with the media buyer to understand what is performing and what to prioritize next
  • - Read ad account data and translate it into better creative decisions
  • - Track your own hit rate and output volume and improve both over time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven direct response creative strategy experience at an 8 figure brand.
  • A portfolio of ads with real performance behind them including winning concepts, hit rate, and total spend your creatives have run on Meta.
  • Deep command of DR fundamentals including avatars, mechanisms, hooks, pacing, and what drives conversions.
  • Sharp at voice-of-customer research and translating raw insight into testable angles.
  • Data-driven. You read ad account performance and turn it into better creative decisions.
  • Strong copywriting instincts and the ability to brief editors and UGC creators clearly.
  • Experience in health, wellness, or supplements is a strong plus.
  • **Nice to Have**
  • Experience with AI avatar ad production including HeyGen or equivalent
  • Background in native advertising including advertorials and listicles
  • Experience working alongside a media buyer in a closed loop creative testing environment
  • You Must Be AI-Native
  • Active, fluent daily AI tool usage is mandatory, not optional. We expect you to be embedding AI into every workflow you touch from day one.
