About the role
- Own and execute Paired’s performance marketing strategy across paid acquisition, influencers, and creative testing, setting clear direction and being accountable for revenue impact and marketing efficiency
- Lead, build, and develop a high-performing performance marketing function (currently ~3 people), including hiring, onboarding, regular 1:1s, and performance management
- Identify, test, and scale new channels and growth opportunities through structured experimentation and clear learning agendas
- Partner closely with brand, product, data, growth, and eCommerce teams to ensure performance activity is aligned with brand positioning and drives demand across both digital and physical products
- Manage performance marketing budgets and external agencies or partners to deliver against targets
- Establish clear goals, metrics, and reporting across all paid, influencer, and creative testing initiatives
- Act as a senior marketing voice within the leadership team, contributing to company-wide growth strategy and decision-making
Requirements
- Significant experience leading performance marketing for high-growth mobile application businesses
- Deep expertise in paid acquisition, creative testing, and influencer marketing, with strong understanding of attribution, experimentation, and efficient scaling
- Proven track record of delivering growth against ambitious targets while managing substantial budgets
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to use data to prioritise and make decisions in ambiguous environments
- Experience using performance channels to support long-term brand building
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive level
- Passion for Paired’s mission to improve the quality of couple relationships
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing performance teams
- This is a remote role open to candidates based in the UK and EU. Applicants must have the legal right to work in their country of residence (no visa sponsorship available).
