Staff Product Manager, AI Care Management
Pair TeamStaff PM on Pod-Agents overseeing AI care management product vision and roadmap for frontline care managers. Collaborating with engineering and clinical operations teams to enhance AI-driven workflows.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with product leadership to define and drive the Pod-Agents roadmap, from discovery through pilot, GA, and ongoing iteration. You'll contribute to strategy, own the specs, and drive execution on one of our most technically ambitious product areas.
- Partner closely with our CMO and clinical operations team to deeply understand how care managers work, where AI can genuinely help, and where humans need to stay in the loop.
- Define what good looks like for AI agent features, including evaluation frameworks, success metrics, and feedback loops that tell you whether the product is actually working in the field.
- Write clear, opinionated specs that give engineers and designers the context they need to build the right thing: not requirements documents, but decision documents.
- Navigate ambiguity with confidence. This is greenfield product work in a regulated domain. You'll make good calls with incomplete information and know when to slow down and learn more before moving forward.
- Serve as a cross-functional thought partner across Pod-Agents, ECM, and Access, helping connect the dots between what we're building and Pair Team's broader care delivery model and partner programs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare, care delivery, or a similarly regulated and complex domain.
- Demonstrated experience operating as a staff-level IC PM, owning roadmap direction, writing crisp specs, and influencing outcomes across engineering and clinical stakeholders without formal authority.
- A track record of building products that touch clinical workflows, whether for care managers, clinicians, health plans, or patients.
- Experience shipping AI or ML-powered features with hands-on involvement in defining evaluation criteria, success metrics, and post-launch iteration.
- Strong written communication. You write specs that move teams forward and can explain complex tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort with compliance and regulatory constraints as first-class product inputs, not afterthoughts.
