About the role

  • Partner with the CPO and senior leadership to shape and execute people strategies that align with organizational goals and values; provide thought leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and cultural initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of People Operations including HRIS, compliance, and policy development; ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels; partner with legal counsel on complex issues to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Lead the strategy, design, and administration of comprehensive employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, wellness, and retirement plans; manage Open Enrollment and 401(k) administration and audits.
  • Lead optimization of HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce) to ensure data accuracy, automation, and actionable insights; leverage analytics and lead future HRIS implementations.
  • Champion a culture of inclusion, engagement, and belonging; drive initiatives that enhance the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of People Operations professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement scalable Learning & Development programs that build leadership capabilities and support career growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • SHRM certification a plus
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, with at least 5 years in senior management or director-level leadership.
  • Proven expertise in HR compliance, benefits administration, HR technology, and process optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, drive cultural initiatives, and build inclusive workplaces.
  • Skilled in influencing senior leaders and building cross-functional partnerships.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms (Ceridian Dayforce preferred) and data analysis tools.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and measuring Learning & Development programs that drive leadership growth and employee skill development.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
