About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead teams responsible for the development, maintenance and support of legacy applications and critical environments.
- Define and drive strategies for technological evolution, systems modernization and digital transformation.
- Promote integration between Mainframe platforms and AWS environments, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the availability, stability and performance of the organization’s critical systems.
- Participate in defining the technology roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate development and maintenance initiatives for applications using both modern and legacy technologies.
- Manage operational and technological risks, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Partner with business and technology areas to ensure solutions align with the company’s strategic needs.
- Develop and engage teams, fostering collaboration, innovation and excellence in delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in Mainframe environments with knowledge of COBOL.
- Experience with Cloud solutions, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of application development using Java.
- Knowledge of Python will be considered a differential.
- Experience in supporting and evolving mission-critical systems.
- Experience in technological modernization initiatives and integration between legacy environments and the Cloud.
- Leadership capability, team management and the ability to drive strategic projects.
- Strong customer orientation and focus on delivering business value.
- Innovative, collaborative profile with strong analytical skills for solving complex problems.
- Results-focused, executive communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
