About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain legitimate contact and interactions with energy distribution companies via email, online meetings, in-person meetings, phone calls, WhatsApp and virtual channels, always taking initiative in processes involving the distributors.
  • Act as the primary person responsible for the relationship with distribution companies.
  • Serve as the company’s focal point with distribution companies and public bodies, representing the organization institutionally according to leadership guidelines.
  • Support leadership with institutional agendas, strategic meetings, negotiations and relevant discussions.
  • Manage relationships in a strategic, structured manner aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Proactively identify the documents and registration data required by each distribution company.
  • Monitor the planning and execution schedule for plant interconnection.
  • Interface with distribution companies in processes related to change of ownership, starting from the plant connection inspection request and following all stages end-to-end.
  • Monitor regulatory and operational deadlines, acting preventively to avoid delays and business impacts.
  • Track completion of the process and receipt of the contract (CUSD and/or Assignment Agreement) duly signed by all parties (legal representatives – witnesses – distribution company).
  • Promote integration between distribution companies and the company’s internal areas involved in regulatory, operational, commercial and financial processes.
  • Map, review and keep relationship processes with distribution companies up to date, including those requested by other company areas.
  • Align workflows, responsibilities and deadlines across areas, ensuring clear and timely communication and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Organize documents in standardized folders on the corporate network and/or SharePoint and maintain updated databases in spreadsheets.
  • Ensure traceability of stages, deadlines and responsible parties for each process.
  • Record and organize occurrences related to distribution companies in databases (Excel spreadsheets), keeping an updated history of the data that feed the Relationship area dashboards and related areas.
  • Review energy invoices from generating plants and their line items, ensuring compliance with contracts and regulatory standards with respect to due dates and billed elements.
  • Manage the issuance, recording and sending of energy invoices for payment.
  • Ensure compliance with internal SLAs for invoice recording and payment, monitoring fiscal clearance up to due date.
  • Act preventively to avoid late fees and risks of supply suspension at the farms (UFVs).
  • File formal complaints through the competent regulated channels, following ANEEL procedures when direct negotiations have been exhausted.
  • Record and organize occurrences related to distribution companies, maintaining a history of evidence and actions in the complaints database.
  • Work collaboratively to resolve issues and drive solutions for requests.
  • Submit purchase orders for payment of energy invoices and purchase requisitions, observing internal workflows and ensuring effective communication with Supply, Tax and Finance areas.
