About the role

  • Continuously assess the logistics operation to detect, record, and eliminate unsafe conditions in the workplace;
  • Guide employees on compliance with hygiene and safety standards, correct procedures, and proper use of tools, PPE, machinery, and equipment;
  • Perform task risk assessments and propose improvements;
  • Investigate causes of incidents, accidents, and deviations, conducting in-depth investigations together with the local team;
  • Lead safety talks with work teams, presenting and discussing various hygiene and safety topics to maintain constant awareness of risks, unsafe acts, rules, procedures, and related matters;
  • Oversee general maintenance services, ensuring procedures are followed and that adequate risk analysis is conducted through work permits;
  • Deliver QHSE (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) training to operational teams;
  • Audit and advise third-party teams to ensure they follow Shopee's safety procedures;
  • Organize and lead the unit's CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) and fire brigade, as well as associated activities;
  • Manage the units' behavior-based safety program;
  • Implement area-related projects at the regional level;
  • Comply with and enforce existing company rules, procedures, and corporate policies.

Requirements

  • Completed technical education as an Occupational Safety Technician;
  • Familiarity with Google tools (Google Workspace);
  • Experience in a logistics environment;
  • Availability to travel;
  • Residence in the South Zone (near Jurubatuba);
  • Valid Category B driver's license.
