About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Suggest changes in situations where a process can be improved.
- Work within a team at an operational level following defined processes to understand the technical solutions proposed by the team.
- Work with BDD, TDD and pull requests, promoting continuous code review.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, fostering synergy and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously study software engineering patterns and concepts relevant to your domain.
- Provide support to mobile engineering teams by troubleshooting issues and offering specialized guidance.
- Automate manual processes to increase productivity and reduce errors.
- Use a data-driven approach to collect and present metrics related to Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning to operation, ensuring efficiency at every stage.
- Proactively perform code reviews, identifying and addressing potential issues collaboratively.
- Assess the impact of changes on deliveries against customer expectations, ensuring quality and user satisfaction.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience with native Android applications.
- Experience with Android Support Library and Material Design.
- Experience with different device form factors (tablet, phone, etc.).
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with delivery workflows focused on quality, including testing and continuous integration.
- Experience with Kotlin and Java.
- Knowledge of modern libraries such as Android Jetpack.
- Experience with design patterns and principles such as SOLID, KISS and DRY (dependency injection, use of interfaces, unit testing).
- Knowledge of MVVM architecture or another mobile architecture you are proficient with.
- Experience with test automation using Espresso.
- Knowledge of reactive programming.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Google Analytics, among others.
- Experience with common Android development libraries (Retrofit, Dagger, etc.).
