About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the highest possible level of automation for solutions.
- Liaise with other teams to ensure tool integration.
- Monitor the environment and create proactive actions to ensure the platform operates smoothly.
- Maintain communication with the Security team to ensure platform reliability.
- Develop tools to ensure resources are being used responsibly and efficiently.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Linux operating system (security, troubleshooting, metrics collection, and performance analysis).
- Experience with networking (firewalls and routing).
- Experience with programming (scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Shell Script, and Python).
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Nice to have / would be a plus:
- Knowledge of Jenkins and Groovy.
- Knowledge of microservices (Docker and Kubernetes).
- Basic practical knowledge of continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of Cloud (AWS).
- Experience automating tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, and Terraform.
