About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the network team's operations.
  • Respond to support tickets.
  • Assist in supporting internal customers.
  • Participate in interactions with equipment vendors.
  • Perform troubleshooting and collaborate with various teams on problem analysis, standard applications, and execution of test plans.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on data networks.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting, using protocol analyzers and other network management systems.
  • Experience with Ethernet/IP networks, routing and switching, OSI model, TCP/IP protocols, and SNMP.
  • Experience with mission-critical data center environments is a plus.
  • Experience with load balancers — F5 and/or Infoblox — is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, including RHEL and Oracle Linux.
  • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and Redis.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing technologies such as VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hypervisor, Amazon AMI, SaaS and FNV.
  • Experience in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Advanced English proficiency for reading and conversation.
