About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and analyze card scheme fee costs, ensuring visibility and control over expenses.
- Identify variances (MoM and YoY) and generate insights to optimize costs.
- Perform financial reconciliation of card scheme costs, ensuring adherence to internal controls (SOX).
- Calculate and operationalize pass-throughs of operational costs (penalties, chargebacks, etc.).
- Prepare and send monthly and quarterly reports to card schemes (acquirer and issuer perspectives).
- Participate in strategic projects, such as mapping and structuring transactional fee rules.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in financial controls, reconciliation and cost analysis.
- Knowledge of the payments industry (card schemes, acquiring and/or issuing).
- Experience with internal controls (SOX) or regulated environments.
- Advanced Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools (BI is a plus).
- Fluent English.
