About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Engineering teams in understanding regulatory requirements (BACEN - Central Bank, SOX, PCI DSS, CVM - Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission).
- Act as an interface with Risk, Internal Controls, and Information Security for internal and external audits.
- Ensure timely responses to audit requests, ensuring the quality of evidence and adherence to deadlines.
- Interpret regulations and translate required deliverables to technical teams.
- Participate in meetings and technical committees to provide compliance assessments.
- Evaluate risk mitigation plans and the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Prepare and disseminate documentation on compliance guidelines.
- Inspect Technology processes to assess regulatory adherence and identify improvements.
- Establish, develop, and monitor maturity indicators and KPIs to track regulatory adherence and highlight gaps.
- Map and automate technology processes.
- Lead technology projects focused on audit and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare management reports and executive presentations for IT forums and committees.
- Ability to interpret technical IT terminology to report and present issues clearly.
- Strong communication skills to convey regulatory requirements assertively and engage stakeholders.
- Ability to structure technical and regulatory scopes, define prioritization criteria, and demonstrate controls.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of frameworks and standards (ITIL, COBIT, COSO, ISO/IEC 27001).
- Experience mapping and automating technology processes.
- Experience in planning and executing IT projects.
- Experience defining and creating KPIs and maturity metrics.
- Knowledge of work management platforms (Jira or similar), including filters, queries, and record categorization.
- Knowledge of Service Asset and Configuration Management (CMDB) for categorizing components linked to regulatory requirements.
- Ability to map products and applications based on risk and criticality.
