About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review and execute test cases (manual and automated) based on product requirements.
- Identify, document and track bugs, ensuring proper prioritization and resolution.
- Support the creation and maintenance of automated tests (when applicable).
- Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, review, retrospective) contributing a quality perspective.
- Validate features across different environments (dev, staging and production).
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria and test strategy.
- Ensure adequate test coverage according to feature criticality.
- Collaborate with developers on root cause analysis of defects.
- Support the organization of test evidence and quality documentation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields (or in progress).
- Basic knowledge of software testing (test types, test life cycle, etc.).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Basic programming logic skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
