About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for leading and advancing advanced Analytics and Machine Learning solutions applied to risk (credit, fraud, AML and collections), connecting data and models to the business strategy, with a strong focus on modeling, feature creation (feature engineering) and decision-making.
Provide technical leadership for strategic modeling and Advanced Analytics projects.
Develop features and advanced predictive models (credit scoring, fraud detection, collections, etc.).
Build frameworks and best practices for the development and monitoring of features and models.
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate problems into analytical solutions.
Contribute to business studies, hypothesis testing and AI/ML initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in Python and SQL (Spark is a strong plus).
Solid foundation in statistics and applied machine learning.
Experience with feature creation and exploratory data analysis.
Experience with classification models (GBM, XGBoost, Random Forest, etc.).
Experience with feature engineering and feature stores.
Experience with model monitoring and model lifecycle (MLOps).
Experience with large-scale data and Cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Experience building risk models (credit, fraud or anti-money laundering - AML).
