About the role

  • Own and deliver assigned revenue, transaction volume, and gross margin targets for the B2B Paga Engine business
  • Drive acquisition of enterprise and high-growth SME clients leveraging APIs for collections, virtual accounts, and payment infrastructure
  • Develop and execute sector-specific go-to-market strategies (e.g., FinTech's, ERPs, FMCGs, aggregators, utilities)
  • Build a predictable revenue pipeline aligned with quarterly and annual targets
  • Identify, qualify, and convert high-value prospects through structured pipeline management
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → solution design → commercial negotiation → closure
  • Conduct executive-level engagements and manage C-suite conversations (CFO, CTO, Head of Payments, Head of Operations)
  • Position Paga Engine as embedded payment infrastructure, not just a payment processor
  • Manage and develop the sales team, setting clear targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring disciplined pipeline management and forecasting
  • Maintain structured CRM and pipeline reporting with accurate forecasting
  • Track key metrics: lead conversion rate, sales cycle length, CAC efficiency, revenue realization, transaction ramp-up post-integration
  • Provide weekly/monthly performance reviews with actionable insights
  • Monitor industry trends in digital payments, API banking, embedded finance, and regulatory changes
  • Gather structured customer feedback and share actionable insights with Product and Engineering teams
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, product packaging, and competitive positioning

Requirements

  • 6 years’ (min.) experience in a B2B Sales
  • Sales experience in Fintech/Telecom/SAS would be an advantage
  • Successfully manage a team of B2B sales executives
  • Have an acumen and tact of handling C-Suite discussions
  • Have experience in selling technical products, comfortable discussing system integration via API, SDK, widget among others
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills
  • Resourcefulness and self-motivation, with the ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • Proactive to client matters
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to exhibit emotional intelligence
  • Confidentiality and the highest ethical standards must be maintained in all activities
