About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You own the entire sales cycle from first contact and demo through to closing
- You primarily work with inbound leads (approx. 80%) and supplement these with targeted outbound activity and your network
- You develop accounts strategically and build long-term relationships, including account planning and upselling
- You maintain your pipeline in the CRM (Pipedrive) and always have a clear handle on forecasts and deal status
- You work closely with Marketing and Product, bringing market insights directly into positioning and product development
- You represent paddy at events, webinars and in direct engagements with schools and stakeholders in the education sector
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role in a software or SaaS environment
- Proven track record of closing deals and meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and persuasively
- Account-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term, strategic relationships
- Structured, independent working style with clear ownership of your pipeline
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment and eager to take on responsibility
- Bonus: Experience in EdTech or public-sector sales
- Experience in mid-market or selling to public institutions
- Experience working in a startup or scale-up
- Network within the education sector
