About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You own the entire sales cycle from first contact and demo through to closing
  • You primarily work with inbound leads (approx. 80%) and supplement these with targeted outbound activity and your network
  • You develop accounts strategically and build long-term relationships, including account planning and upselling
  • You maintain your pipeline in the CRM (Pipedrive) and always have a clear handle on forecasts and deal status
  • You work closely with Marketing and Product, bringing market insights directly into positioning and product development
  • You represent paddy at events, webinars and in direct engagements with schools and stakeholders in the education sector

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role in a software or SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of closing deals and meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and persuasively
  • Account-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term, strategic relationships
  • Structured, independent working style with clear ownership of your pipeline
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment and eager to take on responsibility
  • Bonus: Experience in EdTech or public-sector sales
  • Experience in mid-market or selling to public institutions
  • Experience working in a startup or scale-up
  • Network within the education sector
