About the role
- You own the entire sales cycle — from initial contact and demo to closing.
- You primarily work with inbound leads (approx. 80%) and supplement these with targeted outbound and networking.
- You develop accounts strategically and build long-term relationships, including account planning and upselling.
- You maintain your pipeline in the CRM (Pipedrive) and consistently manage forecasts and deal status.
- You work closely with Marketing and Product and feed market insights directly into positioning and product development.
- You represent paddy at events, webinars, and in direct interactions with schools and education stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1–3 years' experience in a quota-carrying sales role in the software or SaaS space.
- Proven track record of closing deals and meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and persuasively.
- You think in terms of accounts and build relationships strategically for the long term.
- Structured, independent working style with clear ownership of your pipeline.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment and are eager to take on responsibility.
- Nice to have: experience in EdTech or public-sector sales; experience in mid-market or selling to public institutions; experience at a startup or scale-up; a network in the education sector.
