About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and EKS across multiple product and engineering teams
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents of varying scope and complexity
Drive infrastructure projects end-to-end from planning and architecture through documentation
Partner with engineering and product teams to establish infrastructure standards, CI/CD best practices, and operational procedures
Serve as a go-to resource for deployment strategy and infrastructure decisions
Proactively monitor system performance and security, including secret hygiene, access controls, and observability
Mentor other engineers and work independently on high-impact infrastructure problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering experience
Advanced knowledge of AWS networking, compute, storage, and security
Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency in at least one automation/tooling language: Python, Go, Bash, or similar
Track record designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex multi-system problems
Ability to mentor other engineers
Experience in high-growth e-commerce or ad-tech environments
Experience with observability tooling such as OTel, New Relic, Prometheus, or similar
Experience with infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning
