About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Customer engagement and trusted advisory: Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients across Germany and the broader DACH region.
- Procurement expertise and discovery: Develop a thorough understanding of clients' sourcing and procurement strategies, including category management and end-to-end procurement process optimisation.
- Solution demonstration and value selling: Demonstrate how Pactum creates tangible value for customers and partners.
- Business case development: Construct rigorous, persuasive business cases that make the best use of Pactum's core competencies.
- Account growth and expansion: Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure existing customers are maximising their usage of Pactum.
- Product and sales shaping: Act as an internal champion for customer needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Based in Germany, with fluency in German (written and spoken) required; French proficiency is a plus
- 5+ years in procurement consulting or a solutions consulting role with deep procurement expertise, working with large enterprise organisations
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, category management, and supplier relationship management
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement technology platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle
- A compelling presenter - you can craft and deliver a persuasive narrative under time pressure and in front of senior audiences
- Skilled at running workshops and discovery activities that identify customer pain points and map them to solutions
- Analytical and data-driven - comfortable working with complex data to identify trends and develop recommendations
- Strong project management skills - you can manage timelines, resources, and multiple workstreams simultaneously
- A consultative mindset - you earn trust by understanding problems deeply before proposing solutions
- Quick and scrappy - you move fast, respond well to incoming requests, and don't let perfect get in the way of good
- High ownership, low ego - you chase outcomes, navigate ambiguity, and don't wait for permission
