About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and educate facility’s marketing and public relations programs and services.
Develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s public relations and marketing programs and activities.
Maintain and increase the facility’s census by providing the community with information about the facility’s programs, services, and practices.
Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the release of information concerning the residents, employees, and/or the facility in accordance with current Privacy Rules and Regulations.
Assist the Administrator and department directors in the development and use of marketing and public relations policies and procedures.
Establish a rapport in and between departments so that each staff member can realize the importance of their role in our marketing and public relations programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or public relations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Must have strong business and analytical skills.
Familiarity with basic mathematical concepts and operations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Proficient in the Microsoft Suite products.
Maintain licensing credentials for an Administrator.
