About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee facility assessments per guidelines
- Provide oversight on facilities' weekly PDPM meetings
- Track and monitor effective utilization of PDPM tools
- Create clinical reporting systems
- Hold monthly workshops on PDPM and CMS-related regulations
- Track QM and QASP performance
- Assist in reviewing MDS/PDPM claims
- Provide training to new MDS Coordinators
- Develop performance evaluation systems for MDS Nurses
- Ensure timely completion of MDS Assessments
- Coordinate interdisciplinary participation in MDS for new admissions
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent Accredited Nursing Program Degree
- MDS certification is preferred
- Experience in clinical and management roles, preferably in a regional or corporate setting
- Knowledge of CMS/OIG surveys and regulations
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
