About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee facility assessments per guidelines
Provide oversight on facilities' weekly PDPM meetings
Track and monitor effective utilization of PDPM tools
Create clinical reporting systems
Hold monthly workshops on PDPM and CMS-related regulations
Track QM and QASP performance
Assist in reviewing MDS/PDPM claims
Provide training to new MDS Coordinators
Develop performance evaluation systems for MDS Nurses
Ensure timely completion of MDS Assessments
Coordinate interdisciplinary participation in MDS for new admissions

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent Accredited Nursing Program Degree
MDS certification is preferred
Experience in clinical and management roles, preferably in a regional or corporate setting
Knowledge of CMS/OIG surveys and regulations
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
