About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify the roles and responsibilities of the AIT in a Long-Term Facility.
  • Assist in analyzing the various operations within a nursing facility.
  • Act as a liaison between the nursing facility, residents, families and outside community.
  • Compile and develop reporting on budget projections, revenue and expenses.
  • Ensure all employees, residents and families are treated with the utmost respect.
  • Actively engage with community groups and cultivate relationships with local hospital leadership and physicians.
  • Monitor industry regulations, laws, compliance updates and enact changes as necessary.
  • Utilize time effectively to study Federal and State regulations and develop a sound understanding of industry best practices.
  • Understand staffing level requirements and adhere to industry and company standards.
  • Assist in monitoring and directing execution of policy and procedural changes.
  • Involve in resolving HR issues and Risk Management situations within the facility.
  • Assist in capital improvements and participate in Advisory committees.
  • Contribute to safety programs and develop a stellar reputation within the industry and community.
  • Develop relationships with the support team (HR/Therapy/Clinical/Finance) to assist in meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Support Clinical efforts by understanding QA measures and holding people accountable.
  • Monitor collections and A/R daily.
  • Develop and execute creative ideas to increase employee engagement and minimize turnover.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration or Business preferred.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite products.
