About the role
- Responsible for oversight of multiple facility rehabilitation programs
- Train new Directors of Rehabilitation
- Mentor Directors of Rehabilitation
- Monitor facility therapy staffing ratios and therapist duties
- Review and monitor patient charts and electronic health records
- Attend CSR facility meetings
- Assist facilities in achieving survey excellence
- Complete operational reviews as assigned
- Reinforce PACS Therapy Best Practices including Standardized Testing and Annual Screens
- Support facility Administrator with evaluation and performance improvement plans
- Report to Chief Compliance Officer any concerns with compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech Language Pathology at a minimum
- Prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech Language Pathology
- Proficient in computer skills for Microsoft Office and utilizing software for SharePoint, Net Health, and Point Click Care
- Prefer prior regional experience
- Requires RAC-CT Credential within 1 year of hire
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and/or Speech Language Therapist
- Employee must meet continue education requirements per state practices
- Must maintain a license in good standing at all time with the state board
- CPR certification
