About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You negotiate with suppliers from our partner network and ensure customer requests are procured on optimal terms.
- You identify gaps in the supplier network and actively contribute to the development and acquisition of new suppliers.
- You work closely with the Packaging team on customer projects and support both technical and commercial coordination.
- You recognize improvement opportunities in existing processes and contribute ideas to make our purchasing more efficient and scalable.
- You actively maintain existing supplier relationships and act as the primary contact for operational queries and escalations.
- You coordinate closely with the Sales and Customer Success teams to process customer requests on time and to the required quality standards.
- You research potential new suppliers and make initial contact to expand our partner network.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s), preferably with a business or technical focus.
- Initial professional experience in purchasing, supply chain, or partnership management—either through internships or up to two years in a permanent role, ideally in an industrial or trade-related environment.
- You have already gained first-hand experience with supplier engagement and communication.
- Strong communication skills: you can communicate clearly and reliably with suppliers and internal stakeholders—fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Structured and dependable working style—even when managing multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving orientation: you don’t wait for someone else to solve a problem—you take initiative.
- You bring a passion for technical topics and the packaging industry.
