About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and review U.S. Federal and State tax returns, primarily Forms 1065 and 1120
- Prepare tax extensions and support the completion of final tax filings
- Assist with tax notices, amendments, and tax setup processes
- Analyze financial statements, trial balances, and supporting documentation before tax preparation
- Ensure compliance with IRS and state tax regulations
- Collaborate with U.S.-based teams and clients to gather information and resolve tax-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet filing deadlines
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies within the tax team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in U.S. Tax
- Hands-on experience preparing Forms 1065 (Partnerships) and 1120 (Corporations)
- Experience with Federal and State tax returns
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or teams is highly preferred
- Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, ONESOURCE, UltraTax, ProConnect, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations and compliance
- Advanced English (required)
