About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive revenue growth by identifying, converting, and scaling new logistics and freight forwarding opportunities
Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, delivering long-term customer acquisition and retention
Develop integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions and cross-sell offerings with PIL shipping services
Ensure efficient, compliant operations while optimising costs, margins, and overall service delivery
Provide strategic leadership across sales, operations, and support teams
Set clear direction while driving hands-on execution and results
Represent PIL Logistics at senior level with key customers, partners, and authorities
Foster a strong, ethical, and performance-driven culture aligned with PIL values

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field. MBA or professional qualification is an advantage
Up to 10 years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding industry with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience in managing logistics business in Ghana (Services, Taxes, limitation, exposure, etc)
Proven track record in customs processes
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in complex and evolving environments
High integrity with strong adherence to governance and compliance standards
Extensive network of customers, vendors, logistics partners, and local authorities
Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record
Highly self-motivated, with a curious and inquisitive mindset
