About the role

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve volume targets and revenue growth.
  • Proactively engage with key customers to secure stable and long-term cargo support.
  • Work closely with HQ and overseas agencies to stay aligned with core markets and optimize local sales strategies.
  • Provide data-driven insights and commercial recommendations to management and key stakeholders to support business expansion.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team; Set KPIs and performance management.
  • Ensure full implementation and adherence to all relevant digital tools and CRM systems to optimize customer engagement and pipeline management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sale & Marketing, Shipping, Logistics or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in container/liner shipping, freight forwarding or related industry.
  • Hands-on experience in commercial and sales functions, with a strong focus on driving business growth.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in emerging markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and drive change effectively.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
  • Possession of strong analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving abilities.
