About the role
- Serve as PG&E’s in-house Technologist and expert in gas system decarbonization
- Conduct technology identification, evaluation, technical analysis, and project management
- Collaborate with various PG&E departments and external stakeholders
- Prepare technical analyses, economic models, and other materials for findings and recommendations
- Present engineering research and solutions to Directors and Managers
- Manage engineering engagements with third-party firms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of engineering experience
- Master’s degree or PhD in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering (desired)
- Practical engineering experience in industrial environments
- Prior experience as a facility engineer, process engineer, or solutions engineer (desired)
- Strong presentation and written communication skills
- Proven project management experience with budgets of at least $10MM
