About the role
- Provide fit-to-standard, clean core end-to-end Service procurement solutions in SAP S4 / SAP Fieldglass and similar applications to various PG&E business functions.
- Analyze complex end-to-end business processes and information needs across one or more business functional areas and external entities.
- Prepare, present and influence solution proposals to Senior project/IT leadership for alignment and approval.
- Design and implement data driven solutions or propose alternative approaches to address business challenges.
- Serve as the Services Procurement solutions champion on one or more projects, review deliverables by SI partners/ consultants, and ensure ownership and accountability for delivery on assigned projects.
- Document findings from studies, benchmark and prepare recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
- Collaborate with business teams, technical analysts, architecture and strategy organizations to develop integration strategies and plans for Service Procurement Solutions.
- Oversee SAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow) object development in the Supply Chain area for projects, enhancements, and production support.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and obtain business sign-off.
- Take responsibility for the overall SAP solution and SAP interfaces with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Perform additional activities as required by business or project needs.
- Maintain industry knowledge of relevant ERP systems; understand future ERP capabilities and roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- 10 years in IT-Information Technology, or other job-related experience
- 8 years in IT-Information Technology projects, and large projects experience
- 8 years implementing or supporting an ERP system
- Graduate Degree or equivalent experience (desired)
- Utility or construction or similar industry experience implementing or supporting complex services procurement solutions including T&M, Milestone-based and lumpsum contracts (desired)
- Experience implementing Fieldglass SOW solution with various rate structures (desired)
- Implemented SAP S4 Lean services solution with Service Entry Sheet (SES) (desired)
- Ability to independently analyze and design solutions for highly complex projects (desired)
- Mastery of ERP concepts, principles, and practices across multiple business areas and ERP modules (desired)
- Integral involvement in ‘buy versus build’ decisions (desired)
- Experience integrating with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, iCertis or similar (desired)
