About the role

  • Develop proactive solutions for PG&E’s future under senior engineer’s guidance.
  • Support the Distribution Overhead Asset Strategy Engineering and electric operations asset management teams.
  • Analyze outages caused by distribution overhead equipment failures.
  • Update and manage asset management databases to identify emerging threats.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement of Asset Management Standards and Procedures.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil, Mechanical or other Engineering degree.
  • Basic knowledge in engineering research and testing concepts, theories, practices, methods, techniques.
  • Basic investigative skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • Comfortable with computers: familiar with MS Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint.
