Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers
Direct the development and implementation of scalable, reliable, and efficient data architectures
Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions
Manage data engineering projects, including planning, resource allocation, and execution
Foster a culture focused on continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
At least 8 years of experience in IT-Information Technology
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role with a minimum of 2 years in data engineering
Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Deep knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence design and architecture, sql, python, and pyspark
Masters Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
Utility industry experience
