Manage Electric Transmission / Distribution Substation and Transmission Line Major Projects.
Help achieve project management organization vision in the utility industry.
Ensure projects are safely designed and constructed on time, on budget, and in scope.
Identify and resolve project issues to meet overall cost, scope, and schedule commitments.
Coach and develop Project Controls Analysts for improved project management capabilities.
Maintain strong morale and high performance in the team.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
6 years total relevant experience in electric utility Project Management or 3 years of Program Management, Project Management / Controls / Supervisory experience.
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
Supervisory experience, preferably in Project Controls or Project Management.
Strong leadership and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong background in project controls processes and procedures with ability to train others.
Strong MS Excel, SAP and Primavera P6 skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills in driving work progress and improving work processes.
Good analytical and strategic decision-making ability.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing contracts for engineering, procurement, construction services, and professional services.
Electric transmission/distribution substation and transmission line system knowledge.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certified.
Knowledge of Engineers and Scientists of California (ESC) Union Contract.
