About the role
- Participate in the Summer Intern Program designed to help students gain valuable knowledge and experience in either PG&E’s Gas Operations or Gas Engineering
- Contribute as a valuable team member in a specific department within Gas Operations or Gas Engineering
- Work assignments will be in either the Gas Operations or Gas Engineering organization
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree full-time in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering fields
- Must be continuing education towards degree during and/or after internship
- Must be returning back to school in the Fall of 2026 continuing full-time enrollment
- Must be in good academic standing
- FE/EIT certification (Desired)
- Former PG&E Intern (Desired)
- Work experience or internships in utilities, municipalities, construction, or other pipeline related fields (Desired)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills (Desired)
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written (Desired)
- Takes initiative and can work independently with minimal direction (Desired)
