About the role
- Leads construction, engineering, remediation or other technical projects from inception to closeout utilizing project management tools and methodologies to managing the scope, schedule and cost.
- Define project scope and objectives; establish project team with agreed upon roles and responsibilities; obtain commitment on detailed work plans including schedule, cost, resources, contingency and communication plans; obtain management approval as needed; ensure project documentation is maintained; identify, analyze, and address project performance issues; manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables; communicate project status to all stakeholders; assess project risk and develop contingency plans; and identify and communicate lessons learned and best practices.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or the appropriate technical discipline
- Job-related experience, 8 years
- PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
- Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience (Desired)
- Job-related experience, 10 years (Desired)
- Experience as Project Manager, 6 years (Desired)
- CA Class C License, or equivalent (Desired)
- PE-Professional Engineer license (Desired)
