About the role
- Partner with Electric Engineering, Electric Operations, System Protection, and other business units for compliance oversight
- Provide support for CAISO inquiries and deliverables
- Oversee compliance testing, audits, and risk metrics analysis
- Ensure adherence to CAISO requirements by executing PG&E's compliance maturity framework
- Support CAISO's Annual Maintenance Review preparation
- Collaborate on development of mitigation plans and compliance controls
- Support post-AMR assessments
- Manage changes to requirements and procedures
- Identify opportunities for new internal controls
- Provide support during AMR site visits at substations
- Contribute to policy development for new CAISO standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of relevant experience
- 2 years' experience managing compliance/risk programs or controls
- Experience with Transmission Operations System Protection experience
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory policy and compliance concepts
- Ability to influence others to achieve understanding and commitment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of internal control concepts and/or risk analysis & assessment
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP)
