About the role
- Conduct needs analysis, review existing learning options, and facilitate discussions to recommend cost-effective learning and performance support solutions that meet business requirements, support change objectives, and align with industry best practices.
- Work across lines of business to complete cross functional, complex, high priority learning solutions.
- Lead and oversee the design and development of eLearning, instructor-led training, and performance support for technical, compliance, and system solutions in collaboration with subject matter experts and other Academy team members.
- Manage the assignment and quality of design work to ensure that the learning solution is on time, on target and on budget.
- Establish and hold others accountable to quality standards.
- Monitor and report out on learning effectiveness and implement changes as needed.
- Provide coaching and support to other designers.
- Provide project management, including, but not limited to, defining the project scope, estimating and managing timeline, budget, and resources, and providing project updates.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Liberal Arts, or related degree /field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 or more years of Instructional Design or Communications or Teaching or Training or experience required.
- Experience in designing and developing curriculum for cross-functional projects.
- Experience working on small to mid-size projects and/or training programs.
- A strong working knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies for eLearning, classroom or virtual environments.
- Expert knowledge of one or more of the following applications/systems is preferred: MS Office 365, Articulate 360, QuestionMark, SAP Enable Now and web design tools.
- Ability to effectively coach and mentor others.
- Ability to present learning solutions and recommendations to client and team members and negotiate for win-win solutions.
