About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for facilitating internal and external communication between clients, laboratory staff, and sales staff
Serves as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates, issues, deliverables, and scope changes
Leads client meetings in-person or via teleconference
Collaborates and communicates with laboratory staff on project status
Identifies and resolves project issues or delays that may impact quality or turnaround time
Updates the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) with project status, cost, and client account information
Generates client and internal reports in a timely and efficient manner
Provides intermediate to complex analysis and interpretation of data results to clients
Contributes to departmental efficiency and effectiveness by offering suggestions and actively participating in team initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in project management, chemistry, or a closely related field
At least three (3) years of related experience, including work with specialized or technical programs or operations
General understanding of project management program administration, policies, and procedures
Intermediate to advanced methods for resolving project management issues and concerns
Working knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
General knowledge of laboratory testing capabilities
Familiarity with computer applications and systems relevant to the role
