About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute and manage the company's tax routines.
- Provide active support during the migration from Simples Nacional to Lucro Real or Lucro Presumido.
- Provide support and act as liaison with outsourced accounting for monthly closings.
- Review and post fiscal documents in Protheus.
- Calculate taxes and prepare ancillary tax obligations.
- Perform accounting and tax reconciliations.
- Analyze and monitor tax credits, withholdings, and compensations.
- Develop and propose improvements to tax and accounting processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Postgraduate qualification in Accounting or Tax Management is a plus.
- Experience with tax and accounting routines.
- Knowledge of tax legislation.
- Experience with ERP systems (Protheus is a plus).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SPED, ancillary tax filings (obrigações acessórias), and accounting closings.
