About the role

  • Develop and evolve a B2B platform integrated with the Shopify ecosystem;
  • Customize and optimize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, ensuring performance and a strong user experience;
  • Design and implement integrations via APIs (REST/GraphQL) with external systems such as ERP, payment gateways and logistics, including the use of webhooks;
  • Develop and maintain backend services (Node.js, Python or similar) to support business rules not native to Shopify;
  • Implement B2B features such as: customer authentication and management, price lists and commercial conditions by profile, bulk order processing and custom checkout rules;
  • Ensure application performance (Core Web Vitals), security (authentication, validations, rate limiting) and scalability;
  • Contribute to defining the solution architecture, considering decoupling between Shopify and external services;
  • Work collaboratively with Product, CX and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions;
  • Document integrations, flows and technical decisions, ensuring code standardization and maintainability;

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Shopify development (themes + APIs);
  • Customization using Liquid;
  • Experience building or consuming REST/GraphQL APIs;
  • Experience with system integrations;
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript;
  • Experience with version control (Git);
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Architectural mindset (not just execution);
  • Experience in environments with complex business rules;
  • Technical autonomy and an ownership mentality.
